Print Photo Editing

One of my tasks on Thursday and Friday evenings, in addition to online photo edits and covering sporting events, is preparing what we call “Wire pages” on the next day’s print issue. This example from Thanksgiving Day 2024, I was the photo editor for all A section photos including A2 where we can have a little fun with our edits and collaborate with the page designer for something different. Every image here I selected and worked with the page designer for the three image set showcasing the famous Thanksgiving Day parade in New York.
